Bird Watching and Eco-Tours
Bird Watching – Tour the back bays of Atlantic City
Bird Watching and Eco-Tours go hand in hand! Learn firsthand how important the back-bay estuaries are to the circle of life that depends upon the oceans to survive.
The back bays of Atlantic City are home to hundreds of species of birds. They either live in the area year-round or are just migrating as part of their life cycle. Furthermore, the proximity of the Brigantine Wildlife refuge to Atlantic City, makes all of our bird watching tours exciting! See some of the most colorful and majestic birds, up close, as they feed, breed and fill an important need in our ever-important estuary behind Atlantic City.
See Ospreys, oyster catchers, herons, egrets, cormorants, various puddle ducks, and hawks. In addition, possibly catch a glimpse of our Nations Symbol the Bald Eagle. Also, examine some of the underwater animals and organisms as we grab samples around the edges of the sod banks to examine what lurks below! This is fun for the whole family.
You can either select a spot on one of our scheduled Bird Watching Tours, or book the entire boat for your group and share the serenity of the calm back waters of Atlantic City privately.
